Field Trips
Beaufort Pirates Revenge is working with the State of North Carolina to create a program that will allow us to partner with elementary school curriculums in the areas of science and mathematics. These special cruises will be adventure filled as we explore areas such as navigation history, applied pirate mathematics, engineering, weather forecasting, nutrition at sea, and simple machines used by pirates in the 17th and 18th centuries. Our programs include a pre field trip primer for teachers to work through beforehand with students, and a two hour on board experience that will reinforce the concepts through actual demonstrations.
